CNY visiting at my house before heading to s'pore. |
Last weekend, I had a random getaway from this stressful, hustle and bustle city to a materialistic and even a city that is greater stress and hectic life, Singapore.
The journey spent us approximately four hours and thirty minutes driving time surprisingly, I remembered last time will need to take at least six hours journey. (Hmmm..... how come?? *Question Unsolved*)
The whole journey was occupied with conversation and few topics. Dad was keep expressing his opinion about management, bio-tech, medicines, experience in Singapore when young with grandma and his most horrible experience at immigration JB. Sis then reply all of it and debate for her point. And me, laying behind and relax while listening their conversation, all else I will get dizzy. The funny thing was people normally picnic at the beach or garden but we picnic in the car. We eat like nobody business such as Famous Amos cookies, mandarin orange, sandy, potato chips, and bread. After arrived, uncle and aunt brought us to a nearby hawker centre to feed our grumpy tummy. And then, I followed my sis to meet her friend at McDonald after a while we feel boring and decided to check out at Clarke Quay. I did not been to Singapore already more than seven years I guess. Clarke Quay had become a clubbing place and I remember beside the river was empty but now full of pubs and clubs. It is a very good experience to follow my sis this time. I can see what is the true night life actually looks like before I try out one day. We walked round and round for few times and still cannot decide which spot to chill out. Finally, we decided to chill out at a Tapas restaurant & pub I guess. My sis's friend introduced two delicious snack dishes to let us try and ask me to choose a drink. (Ohh No, not my thing. Hate to choose. I need a long time to choose.) She ask my sis whether I drink or not? My sis said don't know her. I answered nope. Then, my sis said twenty years old can drink already but drunk and want me to carry you bag can already (haha). Her friend introduced me few alcohol drinks (Har?), she said Lychee Martini not bad (Oh). Okay, Lychee Martini then. Eww, I don't like vodka. I still prefer beer.
Back to uncle's house around 3.++am and woke up at 8am in the morning. Prepared and ready for breakfast- Bak Kuh Teh. The taste is more to peppery I mean super pepper (boiling inside up, sweating already) and I don't taste any herbs. Still prefer Malaysia's Bak Kuh Teh. =)
After that, plan of the day-
Universal Studio.

Heading to Sentosa- with dad |
I'm getting myself ready for the roller coaster. O.O
The first roller coaster of my entire 20years old life, sad right, I know.
But my first time sacrifice for this two challenging great forces- Battlestar Galactica
The blue one is the
CYLON suspended coaster goes up, around and upside down with an intense corkscrew and a cobra roll.
The red one is the
HUMAN seated coaster zooms at speeds of 82.8km/h and propels you over fourteen storeys into the air.
MUST TRY OUT! =) FYI,
HUMAN is more scary than CYLON.
WaterWorld- entertaining, awesome explosions, handsome & macho guys and a pretty "ang mo" , great death-defying stunts and incredible perfect skidding skills.

While waiting for the show =) |
What's for next? FOOD!
Dad saw an old aunt holding a huge turkey drumstick while waiting for us to finish the ride.
Dad was extremely tempted and can't wait to get one as he didn't eat that huge size of turkey drumstick.
Everyone posing with the drumstick and dad offered he wants to take with the drumstick. Haha.
Sister said we look like carnivore. I'm totally agree! Super huge but the taste was okay only and it's very salty.

A near and short getaway could be awesome too as long as you enjoyed it.
I did enjoy and had a hilarious day as I never get such of chance to enjoy the fun in theme park when I was young. I only to do this when I'm 20 years old. Hope there will be more to go in the future. =)
Either family or friends!
